a bedroom vignette - photo of me and Dan, a box of Oil of Olay, faux metal trinket holder, "Sense and Sensibility" |
Well hello there! While watching the Patriots get trounced yesterday, I did a little merry "mini-making." (It kept me in a good mood.) :) I got out the Sculpey and made a miniature blowdryer, a little "trinket-holder," . . . then got on the computer and created tiny book jackets, downloaded some packaging designs (from
here and another site that seems to be down for the moment -- www.todosminis.com), and shrunk down some old photos and some of my paintings. Later on in the evening I made a couple frames, finished painting & assembling my items and this morning took the photos for this post. Aaaahhh . . . photos . . . so much fun . . . forgive me if some are redundant. It's nice to move things around and make some of the pictures look like they're of a real size room. Enjoy!

a book and a blow-dryer (it looks also like a drill!) -- need I say more? |

My sister-in-law has the real size original of "Sunlit Lemons" -- and now I have a mini version! |

Thanks for taking a look!
I love the papers in this room. That first shot is especially lifelike. :D
ReplyDeleteThank you. That's what I love most about your photos - they look like real-life rooms. So inspiring. I used to take photos of my dollhouse when I was a kid -- with a horrible, square camera with a flashbulb on top. But my goal was always to make the rooms look real. Unfortunately they were usually blurry. Ha! :)
